Michael Worms

Michael Worms, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026 at the age of 75.

Born on January 17, 1951 in Minneapolis, MN. Mike lived a life defined by dedication to family, friendship, and the simple joys that brought happiness to those around him. He will be remembered for his strength, zest for life, and an unwavering love for the people who mattered most.

He took immense pride in being surrounded by loved ones and valued the opportunity to spend time together. Whether gathered at the cabin, enjoying boat rides, spending time in Florida, or celebrating special occasions, the time spent with family was very important. His love, guidance, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Fishing was among Mike's greatest passions and a source of peace and happiness throughout his life. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning or sharing stories about the day's catch, he found contentment on the water. Those moments on the water became treasured traditions that family members will remember for years to come.

Mike took great pride in helping build and operate the family business with Cool Air Mechanical and Camco Lubricants. Through years of hard work, dedication, and commitment, he helped contribute to its success and growth. He also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and embraced the freedom and adventure of the open road.

Although his life was cut short, he faced every challenge with remarkable strength, courage, and determination. A true survivor, he met adversity with resilience and refused to let his diagnosis define him. Through difficult days, he continued to hold onto hope, inspiring those around him with his positive spirit and unwavering faith in better days ahead. His perseverance and optimism were a testament to his character and will be remembered as part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; sons, Daniel (Jess) Worms. James (Lauren) Worms, David (Kelly) Worms; daughter, Jeanine (Mark) Edstrom; and grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Worms, Wally and Ollie Worms, Kinsley and Landon Worms, and Graham, Finn, and Ethan Edstrom. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luverne and Loretta Worms and brother, Mark Worms.

 A visitation for Mike will be held on June 8, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, MN. The funeral mass will be held on June 9, 2026 at 10:30 am with visitation starting at 9:30 am, at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6133 15th Street North, Oakdale, MN. There will be a luncheon following the service at the church.

Though deeply missed, Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, adventure, and devotion to family that will be remembered for generations.
