Passed away peacefully on January 3, 2020, age 87. Retired Wayzata Public Schools Band Director, longtime Minneapolis musician. Preceded in death by sister, Ardell; wife, Janice. Survived by children, Melissa and Matthew (Ann); grandchildren, Christopher, Tina (Jeff), Jennifer, Eleanor, Daniel, Sylvia, and Charlotte; 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service Thursday, January 16, 11:00 A.M. at CALVARY, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley. Visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.
