Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth; son, Gordon K.; parents, Rodney and Anna Engquist; brothers, Gordon and Richard. Survived by son, Alan (Jessica); grandchildren, Anna, Anton, Mary and Jo; great-grandchildren, Keigan, Sofia and Lucian; other family and friends. She was a career woman, her first day of employment was Armistice Day 1944. Muriel loved life, food and travel. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at ELIM LUTHERAN CHURCH, Scandia, MN. Interment Elim Cemetery.
