Muriel Reiners

MURIEL ANN (HENSLIN) REINERS, formerly of Clara City, MN passed away on Wednesday, April 20th at Johanna Shores in Arden Hills, MN. Family members were at her side at the time of her death.
Muriel was born on January 3, 1929 in Lone Tree Township, MN; baptized on February 10th, 1929, in Raymond, MN; confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clara City, MN on April 18th, 1943; and married to Donald W. Reiners on February 8th, 1948, at Immanuel.
Muriel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She served as a Cub Scouts den mother; taught Sunday school at Immanuel; was a supportive band parent; and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Muriel enjoyed working at Furniture Fair in Clara City for many years and had a talent for growing beautiful angel wing begonias and red geraniums. Except for the past two winters, Muriel spent winters in Mesa, AZ.
Muriel is survived by her daughter, Karla (Reiners) Lange and son-in-law, Richard Lange of Elk River, MN; her son, Bradley Reiners and daughter-in-law, Agatha Reiners, of Shoreview, MN; three grandchildren, Beth Lange, Aaron Reiners, and Matthew Reiners; one great granddaughter, Carmen Olson-Reiners; and several nieces and nephews. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jennie (Gerdes) Henslin; her husband, Donald W. Reiners; her brothers, Gordon Henslin and Vernon Henslin; her sister, Marlys (Henslin) Reetz; and a grandson, Christopher Lange.
The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clara City, MN, on Wednesday, April 27th at 3:00 pm with Pastor Joel Gueningsman officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with interment immediately following the service.
The family extends special thanks to the staff of Johanna Shores and the Health Partners Hospice team for taking such good care of Muriel.
