Nancy was born in Willmington, Delaware. Nancy was a long time resident of Marshville, North Carolina. She enjoyed reading and was an avid animal lover. She used to play keyboards with her late husband Gene and friends.

Preceded in death by; parents, Edward Hannagan and Bessie Tindall Hartnett; late husband, Gene Smith; son, Tony Celli; grandson, Shane Konkiel, and one great-grandchild, Chase Warren.

Nancy will be remembered by surviving; 3 brothers, Charles (Ellen) Hannagan, Anthony (Teresa) Collurafici, Vincent (Lisa) Collurafici; 2 children, Bonnie (Steve) Dixon, and Jennie (Kim) Holiskey; 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
