Nicholas Beck, 78, passed away from complications of ALS, on August 11, 2025, in Chisago City, MN.

Nicholas was born on April 13, 1947 in St. Paul, MN, to Jack and Madelyn Beck.
Nick graduated from Cretin High School in 1965 and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Century College in 2019. He started his career in transportation and owned his business, Package Delivery Service. After selling his business he went on to work as a courier for several other services. He retired from Federal Express. He also was a driving instructor for Safeway Driving School; then became a volunteer driver for the Disabled American Veteran's organization.

Nick was best known for his love of driving and taking tours with his family to his childhood neighborhoods. He loved to share family history with everyone. Nick was a resource for his family history. He liked to read, do word finds, and watch Jeopardy. He was a long time lector at St. Genevieve's Church and volunteer for the annual St. Genevieve's August Festival. He attended Viking Toastmasters, St. Paul, American Legion Post 406 Christie DeParcq St. Paul, and monthly luncheons with Cretin classmates from the class of 1965.

Nicholas served in the Marine Reserve from 1965 - 1971 as an aircraft safety and preparation specialist.

Nicholas is survived by Karen Benjamin-Beck - spouse, of Lino Lakes. Nick was a bonus dad to Kimberly and Lisa and a bonus grandpa to Jordan (Britney), Morgan (Nick), Tyler and Isaac (Olivia). He is survived by brother Patrick, sister Nancy (Dave) Hammond, and brother Daniel (Laurie); Brother's-in Law Todd (Carol) Benjamin, Lee Benjamin, Grant (Karen) Benjamin. Nieces, Christy (Robert), Erica (Tim), Katey (Micah), Sondra (Giovanni), Sarah, (John), Devan (Sam), Chloe (Nate), Audrey (Nick), Alexa (Tim), Tanya (Nick), Rebekah (Nathan). Nephews, Eric (Julia), James, Ryan (Tanya). Nathan, William (Samatha), Clayton, Nicholas, Chad (Susie), Eric, and 10 grand nieces, 10 grand nephews, 1 great grand daughter, Cora and many cousins and friends.
Nicholas is preceded in death by Father and Mother Jack and Madelyn Beck and baby sister, Mary. Father and Mother-in-Law's Stilwell and Phyllis Benjamin. Brother's-in-Law Daniel Benjamin and Murray Benjamin.

The service for Nick will be held on August 28th, at the church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove, MN. Visitation at 10:00 AM, Mass at 11:00 AM, luncheon to follow. Burial will take place with family at Resurrection Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
