Nicholas Andrew Tamble

Nicholas Andrew Tamble. Age 52 of Mounds View. Nick passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2026. He was a loving father, son, and brother whose energy, warmth, and adventurous spirit touched everyone who knew him.

A natural athlete and outdoorsman, Nick embraced life with immense passion. He was an Ironman finisher, completed open-water endurance swims around Key West (13 miles) and Mackinac Island (8.2 miles), and shared his love for extreme water sports as the organizer of the first Minnesota Ice Swim. Whether ice dipping, enjoying a sauna, or spending a quiet day fishing, Nick was always in his element outdoors. Beyond his athletic achievements, Nick served his community as a councilman and brought creativity and care to the world around him as a talented artist, landscaper, and sauna builder. He lived with strength through his struggle with bipolar disorder. Above all, Nick cherished his role as a father, son, brother, and partner.

Nick is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth, Milana, and Sophia; his partner, Anastasia; his parents, Thomas and Karen; his siblings, Natalie (Henry), Sara (Aric), Anthony (Carrie), Alex (Jamie), and Zack (Kelsey); Elizabeth's mother, Kimberly; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and community friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Dr., White Bear, MN. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 4:00 PM.
