Nora Patterson

Nora (Engen) Patterson, age 97, of Presbyterian Homes, formerly of Mpls, died on May 1st, 2003. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Lyle; also last surviving sibling of 6 sisters and 4 brothers. She will be missed by sons, Robert (Margaret) and Michael; grandchildren, Susan Kulm (David) and James McQuen Patterson (Shirley); great-grandchildren, Laura, Scott and Amy; many nieces and nephews. Born in Eleva, WI to Norwegian immigrants, she moved to Mpls as a young woman where she met and married Lyle. Long-time supporter of ARC, she raised a downs-syndrome son at home long before others dared to, because it was the right thing to do. Service Tuesday, 11:00 am at CHRIST CHURCH LUTHERAN, 3244 34th Avenue South. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Visitation A� hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred.
