Passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017. Preceded in death by wife, Millie and son-in-law, Ken Meister. Survived by children, loving daughter, Sue Meister, and son, Tim Sperling; grandchildren, Kelly (Dan) Ralston, Ben (Julie) Meister, Lisa (Matt) Meister; great-grandchildren, Jacob & Jack Omar Ralston, and Mason & Makenna Hopkins; sister, JoAnn and numerous nieces and nephews. Omar enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, casino trips, and traveling. His family was his most cherished priority and gave him great joy throughout his life. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 5th at 11am at THE CHURCH OF ST. MARY, 423 S 5th St., Stillwater with a visitation beginning at 10am. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
