Patricia Swanson

Patricia (McIntyre) Swanson, age 85 of Stillwater, died March 5 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents, Walter & Nancy McIntyre; husband, Roland Swanson; son, David; brothers, Curtis & Quentin; grandson-in-law, Ben Dodt. Survived by children, Greg (Jean), Amy (Mike) Hooley, Dan (Stephanie), Shari (Richard Scherer) McIntyre; grandchildren, Jim (Leah), Jennifer (Jon) Fuglestad, Ben, Kate (Justin) Moser, Joe, Ted, Kevin Hooley, Camilla and Evelyn Dornquast; great-grandchildren, Kianna, Parker, Patrick, Elise, Kate, MacIntyre. Patricia enjoyed socializing with her bridge club and the Stillwater High School Class of 1948 reunion planning committee. She was an attentive mother and grandmother, and was the glue that held a loving family together. She loved visits from her children and grandchildren, and also looked forward to her quiet time with a good book, as she read several every week. The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the loving care of the staff at Lakeview Hospice and The Gathering. Private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date; memorials may be directed to Lakeview Hospice.
