Patrick Michael Needham
April 30, 1940 - January 9, 2026
Patrick Needham, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Patrick grew up on the East Side of Saint Paul and graduated from Harding High School in 1958. While there, he met his beloved wife Barbara Ehrle, whom he married in 1961 and spent 64 happy years with. He later called Stillwater his home, where he built his business and raised his family. He served as the president of the Jaycees and chaired the Stillwater Heritage Preservation Committee.
He proudly served his country in the Navy from 1959 to 1963. He later became a business owner and a facilities engineer, retiring from Bethesda Hospital in 2006.
Patrick was as quick with a joke as he was free with his kindness. He never met a person he wouldn't help, and he took great joy in being able to do so. He delighted in making people smile and making them feel welcome.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Barbara (Ehrle) Needham, and his children, Lisa and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Tony and Katherine Needham, his sister Aleta, and his brothers, David and Terry. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and dear friends.
We would be honored if you would join us to celebrate Patrick's life on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 611 3rd St S, Stillwater, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
