Age 80 of Arden Hills passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2015 in the home that he had built. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean; children (spouses): Mark (Julie) Arend, Terry (Bob) Provo, Greg (Michelle) Arend, Mike (Lisa) Arend, and Mary (Chris) Hoglund; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Was founder of Arend & Sons Construction and a longtime parishioner of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 23rd, 10:00AM at Holy Childhood Catholic Church, 1435 Midway Parkway, St. Paul. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday, December 22nd, 5:00-8:00PM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear and on Wednesday, December 23rd, 9:00AM (1 hour prior to Mass) at Holy Childhood Church. Memorial donations are preferred to www.Bridging.org or to www.SharingandCaringHands.org.
