Paul Arthur Url Linnerooth

Paul A. Linnerooth, went home to Jesus on August 10, having enjoyed 98 years.

He is preceded in death by his brothers and sister: John (Eleanor), Dean (Myrna), Ilene (Gerhard) Alexis. He is survived by his beloved wife Alice of 72 years; his children, Karin (Craig) Johnson, Paul J (Doris), and Andrea (Marlin) Becker; his grandchildren, Kristofer, Kyra, Erik Ky, Matthew, Paul Alexander, Amilynn, and Benjamin; his great-grandchildren, Grace, Sage, Axel and Lilyan; and his brother, Dan (Bev).

Paul was born in St. Paul, MN, graduated from Johnson High School, St. Paul, and U of MN in mechanical engineering. He retired from 3M as a Staff Vice President with 42 years of service including 5 years as Managing Director of 3M Brazil. He was a long-time member of the St. Paul Ski Club, White Bear Yacht Club, and enjoyed downhill skiing, sailing, motorcycling, and aerobatic flying. He proudly served as a Marine during WWII.

His celebration of life will be held on August 26th at 11 am at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Road, in Mahtomedi. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior and lunch to follow.

Memorials to St. Andrews or Eagle Brook Church are preferred in lieu of flowers.
