Hunt, Paul Robert

passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 59 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He was born in Grand Forks, ND, spent his early childhood in Red Lake Falls, MN, and attended schools in Minneapolis and Stillwater.

Paul is survived by his wife, Robin; daughter, Hailey Ann; step daughter, Lindsay Gleason; and step grandchildren, Dylan and Alleigh Hartley; step son, Danny Gleason; father and mother, Vincent "Bob" and Mary Kay Hunt; brother, Steve (Karla Deutsch); sisters, Carolyn (Cecilie Surasky) and Ann (Tony Saccoccia); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Paul worked in the construction trades and loved being in the outdoors. He also spent some time as a chemical dependency counselor. Paul loved his daughter, Hailey, dearly and spent many hours reading to her as a child. He maintained a positive attitude despite serious health problems over the past decade. He will be remembered for his wit, sensitivity, laugh, smile, gentleness, and concern for others.

A memorial service to honor Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, April 9th at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. Visitation at 10 AM, Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.

May Paul now rest in the peace that so often eluded him.
