Age 67
Peacefully died at his home on September 9, 2015 from brain cancer. Preceded in death by parents Art and Marie. Survived by wife Teri; children Ben (Sara Lara), Tim (Kathy), Emily (Tony Odman), Chad Malmberg (Odra), and Jessica Kimpton (Jason); along with nine grandchildren Annika, Cecelia, Siri, Whitney, Emilio, Bjorn, Jackson, Lucille and Unni; sister Barb Hanson (Brian), brother Gary (Jayne), plus four nieces and nephews and their families. Phil served as pastor to more than six churches in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America from 1994-2013. Visitation Friday, September 18th from 5-8PM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater. A Service of Thanksgiving will be Saturday, September 19th at 11AM with visitation starting at 9:30AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 4th Street N., Stillwater. A luncheon immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcome for brain cancer research or the ELCA.
