Reeta Mae Van Asch

Reeta Mae (Halford) Van Asch, died peacefully at home on October 10, 2024. She is survived by children, Diane Rainer, Debbie Derschl, Patty Fay, Tim Scott, Nioma Scott; siblings, Janet Fay and Jerry Halford; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Susan Halford; daughter, Ivy Lynn Scott; husband, Joe Van Asch, sisters Barbara and Bertha, and brother Jimmy Halford.

Reeta was kind, loving and generous, and loyal to a fault. Throughout her entire life, she was a strong-willed hard worker. She had an affinity for cardinals, and knew that they were symbols of her loved ones' presence around her.

In keeping with Reeta's wishes, no services were held.
