Passed away peacefully amongst loved ones and prayers. Retired St. Paul Police Sergeant, Navy Veteran, and long time member and leader in Student Ministries at Eagle Brook Church, Richard served others throughout the entirety of his life.

Preceded in death by parents Harold and Doris Klein.

Survived by his wife, Ellen (Nee Hegge) Klein; daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Bates, Kate (Mike) MacRae, Julianne (Mike) Osegaro; son, Mike Klein (Angie Gauniel); grand children, Maddalyn Bates, Abbigail Bates, Oliver Bates, Riley MacRae, Drey Pedersen, Blaze Parrish, Mason Schultz; sisters, Cynthia Weber, Linda (Duffy) Warner, Sandy (Jim Hegge) Klein; brothers, Jim (Barb) Klein, Tom Klein; a large extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins, and an immeasurable group of very dear friends.
