Richard "Dick" Peterson

Age 89 of Mahtomedi went home to Glory on Monday, January 1, 2024 of congestive heart failure.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Mildred; daughter Joan; and brother Roger.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 69 years Donna; sons David(Rhonda) and Dale(Amy) Peterson; eight grandchildren Shiloh, Joshua, Micah, Ben, Brandon, Kirstin, Tessa, and William; 18 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dick was a graduate of Johnson Highschool in 1952. He became a machinist and worked for Kurt Manufacturing for 20 years before the Lord called him into ministry. He pastored a church in Brownsburg, Indiana where he and Donna lived for 20 years. They both returned to Minnesota in 1995 when he began his work at Eagle Brook Church as the pastor for senior adults for the next 10 years.

His Celebration of Life will take place at Eagle Brook Church, 2401 Buffalo St, White Bear Lake on Friday, January 26th beginning at 11 a.m. with a visitation an hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eagle Brook Church or a charity of your choosing.
