Richard "Rick" LaMone, age 72 of Afton, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. He will be deeply missed by those who survive him: his wife of 53 years, Maureen; children, Ron (Jennifer) LaMone, Laura (Mark) Weston; grandchildren, Julia (Ezra), Hannah, Olive, Xavier, Eliza; siblings, Jan (Don) Schlichte, Corinne/Keeniebis (Bob) Brown, Jim (Cheryl) LaMone; several generations of nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Genevieve; and stepmother, Margaret Mansur LaMone.
Rick was well known as a person who loved life and lived it fully.
