Age 69
Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Friday, April 1 at Sholom Home Hospice care after a lengthy battle with emphysema. Preceded in death by his parents, Birger and Jennie, and brother, Quentin. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela; daughters Cara Sjodin (Scott Stensrud) St. Paul, and Kate York, Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Ben, Claudia, Madeline, Amelia and Daniel; sister-in-law, Elaine Sjodin; nieces, nephews and friends. Richard selected to be a part of the Anatomy Bequest Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He was a graduate of Macalester College and a United States Army veteran. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Please join us for a celebration of life service on Thursday, April 7, 11:30 am, Bradshaw Funeral Home, 678 S. Snelling Ave, St. Paul.
