Rick Johnson

Rick Lee Johnson, Age 54 of Stillwater passed away on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024.

He is preceded in death by: Grandparents: Woodrow "Papa" and Lily "Grandma" Johnson; Orrin "Boom" and Dorothy "Mam" Slind. Godparent Sharon "Wessie" Cunningham. Dogs: Guntar & Sylvio.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Leighton and Sue Johnson; Family: Leighton "Chip" Johnson II, Nieces Briley & Harper; Kirk Johnson & Leilani Snow; Nieces: Savannah and Cheyenne; Nephew Hudson; Godparent: Dan Cunningham and many beloved family and friends.

Rick graduated from Stillwater Area High School before attending college at MSU Bozeman earning his B.A. and continued his education at UC Boulder. He went on to flourish in his career as a Chef and Brewmaster. When the mountain bike season ended, you could often find Rick skiing down the slopes of the Rockies. He will be remembered as a quick-witted man who filled his time with friends, family, food and deep conversations. 

He will be missed but never forgotten.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 4-7p.m. on Saturday, June 29th at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. There will be a time for sharing beginning at 5:30.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rick's name to Valley Outreach in Stillwater or donor's choice.
