Rita Votel

Daughter of Robert & Mary Rieck (deceased), born in Saint Paul, MN. Passed peacefully at home in Barronett WI. Preceded in death by husband, Benjamin J. Votel, Sr., children Patricia, James & Kathleen, brothers Robert Rieck, James Rieck and Kenneth Rieck, and son-in-law Robert Shaw. Rita is survived by her children and their families: Henry Votel (Trish), Charles Votel (Judy), Jeanne Shaw, Timothy Votel (Sandy), Dr. Joanne Votel (John Berthiaume), Colette Votel, Anne Weber Bjerkness, Martin Votel and Benn Votel; brother Richard Rieck (Dede); dear companion Dale Dresel, sisters-in-law Dorothy Rieck and Vera Votel, and brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Votel, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews & nieces. Rita's Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday January 23, 2016 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN. Chaplain Derek Washington officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
