Robert C. Anderson

Robert (Bob) Anderson of Maplewood, MN passed away peacefully with family at his side on March 17th, 2026 at the age of 78. Bob was born on May 17, 1947 in St. Paul, MN and was the only child of Maynard and Frances Anderson.

Bob graduated from North High School in 1965, and attended the University of Minnesota until he stepped up to run the family business, Anderson Shoes on Payne Avenue in St. Paul. Anderson Shoes was a staple of the East Side since 1952, and it was Bob's first and only job until he retired in 2024.

Bob was married to Sandy (Geiger) Anderson on June 18th, 1973 in St. Paul, MN. Together, they owned and operated Anderson Shoes for over 50 years.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Frances Anderson. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandy; his son, Charlie (Kelli); and his two grandchildren, Anna and Ari. 

Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29th from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Bradshaw located at 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN 55127. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue, beginning at 1:00 pm.
