Robert C. Fischer (Bob)

April 22th,1933 – December 13th, 2025

Our dad passed away on December 13th, 2025. Dad had to overcome his hearing loss from Korea and his lack of reading from having Dyslexia. Between printing, truck driving and the Lake Johanna Fire Department, were he served as a fire fighter and a District Chief. He was a great provider for our family. If family or friends needed anything fixed or built he was right there to lend them a hand. Call Bob, he was always there to help. He spent hours down in his workshop woodworking. He did a lot of volunteer work for the Ramsey County Sheriff Department. He would help with the Fright Farm for Halloween, and with numerous other local events. Bob and June were avid campers. They traveled all over the country in many different sizes and types of campers. They belonged to the Winnebago International Travelers and were Charter Members. Bob would be the campground fix-it guy whenever camping. Our mom was the love of his life for 70 years. With mom’s polio getting worse as the years went on, dad was right there to help her and make her life as easy as possible. When she passed away in May, dad was lost, he had a hard time realizing that she had passed.

His funeral will be on Thursday January 8th, 2025, at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview. The visitation will be on that day from 10:00-11:00 and then followed by a short service. Dad will always be remembered by his children Deb (Gary) Fautsch and Terry (Stacey) Fischer; grandchildren, Melissa, Kelsey, Brian, and Courtney; step grandchildren, Jake, Owen, and Gavin; great grandchildren, Lila June and Sonya James; step great grandchildren, Beau, Dallas, Graham and Rory; sister-in-law, Betty; and many other beloved family and friends.
