Hinz, Robert J. (Bob)
Born September 7, 1947. Died September 24, 2015. Bob lived his life to the absolute fullest. It's fitting that he left us in the fall, his favorite time of the year. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and virtually every sport. He loved spending time with his wife of 45 years, Linda, his two children John (Jamie) and Jennifer, and his grandchildren Alex, Julia, Maisy and Henley. Wherever he went he made new friends, he could carry on a conversation with anyone he met and his wardrobe usually consisted of something from the Cabela's camouflage collection - no matter the event. He owned and ran John's Bar for over 40 years, ran Swirls & Curls with his father in the 70s, farmed beef cattle in western Wisconsin most of his life and gave 40 years to Duck's Unlimited. Bob was a proud American and served his country in the Army in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents (John and Fran). He will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends. Services will be held at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater on Thursday, October 1 from 4-7 p.m. There will be a special time of sharing at 6:30 p.m. He will be buried at Ft. Snelling on Friday, October 2. Please arrive by 10 a.m. to Assembly Area #3.
