Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 20, 2009. Preceded in death by wife, Jayne; son, Joseph and grandson, Adam. Survived by sons, Bill, Bobby (Pam) and Ed; daughter, Nancy (Joe) Reule; daughter-in-law, Connie; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends and relatives. Lifetime member of American Legion Post # 474. Retiree of Bell Telephone. Special thanks to the staff, volunteers and friends at the MN Veteran's Home in Silver Bay, MN. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11:00AM at CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD 197 W. Geranium, St. Paul. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to MN Veteran's Home Recreation Dept. 45 Banks Blvd., Silver Bay, MN 55614
