Robyn Marie Cynthia Dwyer

October 8, 1953 – July 27, 2026

Robyn Marie Cythinia (Pesch) Dwyer, a radiant soul whose love knew no bounds, passed into heaven surrounded by loved ones on Monday, July 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Robyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents: Wallace and Marjorie Pesch; cherished granddaughter Nautica; family; friends; and beloved pets.

Robyn is survived by her devoted husband: Terry Dwyer, with whom she shared decades of unwavering love and partnership, alongside their sweet and energetic dog Lola. She was a proud and loving mother to Honour Wirwahn and Matthew (Shen) Wirwahn, and a doting grandmother to her life's pride and joys: Monique (Nathan), Jayden, Anthony, and Brittyn. She also leaves behind her dearest sister and best friend, Rhonda (Mike) Burke; brothers Kim (Ruth) Pesch; Kurt (Kathy) Pesch; JD (Paula) Pesch; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Born in Minneota, MN, Robyn was the eldest of five: a natural achiever, a true older sister, a born leader, state-titled gymnast, and a bright light in every room she entered. She pursued her passion for the arts at Morningside College in Iowa and later in California, where her talents in acting and singing flourished. Her voice, both on stage and in church, brought comfort and inspiration to all who heard it.

For years, Robyn shared her gifts with others by teaching dance and piano, nurturing young hearts and minds with patience, joy, and a deep belief in their potential. She gave her time so freely, always showing up, always listening, always lifting others. Whether it was a student, a friend, or a stranger in need, Robyn had a way of making everyone feel seen and supported.

Robyn’s life was one of adventure and service. In 1991, she met Terry, her other half, and they built a life filled with shared purpose, love of traveling, great nights out and quality family time. They met working at the Minnesota Department of Revenue, where Robyn retired as Director of Collections, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and excellence.

Robyn spent years outside building beautiful gardens in every home she lived. She fell in love with Saint Augustine and spent the best years of her life in her beautiful beachfront home, which she loved to share with family visiting. An avid photographer, Robyn captured the beauty she saw in the world through her unique eye through the lens of her camera. Her love of nature and family is shown through her thousands of photos, especially of her grandchildren, pelicans and sunsets.

Above all, Robyn was a mother who remembered the little things, reminded her children daily of their worth, and lived with a peace and presence that made everyone feel seen, cherished, and deeply loved.

A celebration of Robyn's life will be held on Saturday, September 19th, beginning with a visitation at 11:00 a.m., service at 12:00 p.m., followed by a lunch where family and friends will gather to honor her light, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memories, photos, or donations in her name to S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue, Inc. P.O. Box 840215 • St. Augustine, FL 32080 • 904.460.0556, where Robyn and Terry often volunteered and where they fell in love with Lola.
