Roger John Kramer Sr.Age 83, passed away on June 20, 2026. Born May 12, 1943, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Roger was known for his humor, love of clowns, motorcycles, and dedication to family and friends.
A proud Vietnam veteran, saxophone player, and member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 50 years, Roger touched many lives through his kindness, support, and willingness to help others. He especially treasured his friendships with his Squad 5 Grumpy Old Men. More than anything, Roger loved making people laugh. Bringing a smile to someone's face or lifting their spirits brought him great joy, and his quick wit and playful sense of humor touched countless lives.
Welcomed in heaven by parents, Joseph and Agnes Kramer, brothers Carey and Frank, sister Kay, niece Julie, grandson Arthur.Roger is survived by his wife, Marilyne Dahl; his son, Roger (Christa) Kramer, grandson Robert; 13 beloved stepchildren and their families, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol; and nieces and nephews.
A burial service will be held August 13 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave. S) @ 10:00, with a luncheon to follow at Downtown Al-Anon 520 North Robert St. Paul, 55101.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
