Roger James Rowen

Roger James Rowen, born May 27, 1935, went home to heaven on Friday, April 17, 2026 in River Falls, WI. His memory lives on in his loving wife of 67 years, Marilyn; his children, Doug (Sue) and Sarah; four grandchildren, Albert (Anna), Kaytlyn, Kyrsten (Collin), and Tyler (Meagen); and four great-grandchildren, Esmee, Lincoln, Louie, and Ray.

He was preceded in death by father, Ernest; mother, Vera; sister, Rita; and foster daughter, Cheryl Rossi.

Roger lived a full life filled with deep faith, prayer, a few miracles, and personal fellowship. As a humble servant of Jesus, Roger served and mentored hundreds of individuals, traveled to all 50 states, 33 countries, lived in Japan for 5 years, and spent 42 years working for 3M.

Roger enjoyed winters in Sarasota, Florida, and summers in Minnesota with family and friends; golfing, time at the lake houses, fishing, teaching waterskiing, and marveling in God's creation.

Service will be held Monday, April 27 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN. Visitation at 9:30 am, service to follow at 10:30 am. Livestreamed at saintandrews.org/funerals. Roger will be laid to rest at St. Andrew's Columbarium & Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can go to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.
