Dant, Roland James

Age 82 of Forest Lake, formerly of Scandia passed away peacefully on May 27, 2021. Roland was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up on a farm in Iowa. He loved boats and sailing. He was always reading a book and had great stories to tell. He built many beautiful things and was a tremendous help with projects. He worked at Land O Lakes for 30+ years.

Roland is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie McKinney; brother, Roger (Bev); children, Michael (David), Janet (Chris) Graham, Jack, Drease (Lori) McKinney; grandchildren, Monica and Paulina Graham, Kayla and Kasey McKinney.

A Celebration of Roland’s Life will take place July 10th at 1:00 pm at his home in Forest Lake.
