Passed away peacefully in his home on August 14, 2019, age 79. Preceded in death by parents, Mabel and James; sister, Donna Pittman; brother-in-law, Richard Stahura. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Diane; children, Mark (Nancy), Rhonda, Rachelle Short, and James (Julie Miller); 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Dolores), Gordon (AnnaMae), Patricia (Bill, deceased) Welna, Robert (Julie); in-laws, Marvin Pittman, Mike (Barb) Stahura, Char Stahura, and Evelyn Stanley; many nieces and nephews. US Army veteran, retired Minneapolis Police Officer, and avid sportsman. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 24, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF THE HOLY NAME, 3637 11th Avenue South. Visitation Friday, August 23rd, 4-8 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South, as well as one hour to the Mass at the church.
