Ronald Sockness

Ronald Sockness, age 85, passed away on April 18, 2026.Ronald was born on June 26, 1940, in Stillwater, Minnesota, to Helga and Lyle Sockness. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and went on to dedicate his professional life to public service as an Assistant Fire Marshal for the state of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents Helga and Lyle Sockness and his sister Jackie Klund.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Sockness, sister Cheryl (Dick)Rasmussen, son Paul Sockness, daughter Jennifer (Darren) Bergmair. Grandchildren Kaylee Mehlhorn, Joshua Sockness, Jocelyn Sockness, Jill Sockness, and Emma Bergmair.

A private burial ceremony is planned for May 22 nd at Hazelwood Cemetery.
