Ruth A Wiesner

Age 90 of Stillwater, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 19th, 2025.

Ruth graduated high school from Mechanic Arts in St. Paul, MN. She then joined the US Navy where she became a Dental Assistant, and met Tom Hewitt. They married and through the Navy lived in Virginia and Cuba. They had Kim, Tracy and Jean. After their divorce, she came back to St. Paul to be near her family and continued her career as a Dental Assistant to support her three girls until she met Ken Wiesner on a blind date; they would later marry. Shortly after marrying Ken, they adopted Jennifer and had Jackie; after Tom's passing Ken adopted Kim, Tracy and Jean. They lived in Port Byron, IL, St. Paul, MN, and Wahpeton, ND. However, Stillwater was their home for most of their 53-year marriage. Ruth enjoyed art, music, old movies, and spending time with her family. She and Ken also made many friends during their winter trips to Mexico for almost three decades.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leopold and Charlotte Trevino; siblings Margaret(Carl) Hobbs, Olga(Merril) Walker, Rosemary(Earl) Weierke, Arthur(Marlyn) Trevino, Rudolph(Alice) Trevino, Racquel Church, Paul Trevino, and Dorothy(Dean) Peoples; and her grandson Andy.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Ken; children Kim Verhein, Tracy(Carl) Baglio, Jean(Dean) Titel, Jennifer(Rick) Stella, and Jackie(Tony) O'Neill; grandchildren Carly, Arianna, Brent, Allison, Anthony, Kenny, Emily, Aaron, Allen, Johnny, and Samson; 10 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and other family.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Tuesday, May 27th from 4-7p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 4th St N, Stillwater

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Make A Wish Foundation.
