Sandra Lindgren

SANDRA L. LINDGREN, 87, of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on February 8, 2026. Sandra was born on July 7, 1938 in Minneapolis to Ernest and Shirley Brokaw. She was the oldest of seven children.

Sandra married Richard H. Lindgren in 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota where they raised three children, Michael, Cynthia, and Greg.

Sandra was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking wonderful meals, and tending to her backyard flower and vegetable gardens. She was always kind and generous and will be greatly missed.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband Richard, her parents, two sisters; Susan Shaddrick and Pamela Larson, and a brother Dennis Shaddrick all from the Minneapolis area.

She is survived by her children Michael Lindgren and wife Patricia of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Cynthia Armandi and husband Greg of Jay, Maine; Greg Lindgren and wife Paula of Burnsville, Minnesota; three brothers, Gilbert “Rusty” Brokaw and wife MaryAnne of Washington; and Lester Shaddrick and wife Nancy of Wisconsin, and Randy Shaddrick and wife Pat of Minneapolis, MN. In addition, Sandra has 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A service for Sandra Lindgren will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., Minneapolis with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and a luncheon after the service from 12 to 1:30 PM. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery to follow.
