Scott Alan Jahnke passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Scott was born Nov. 13, 1963 at Otis Air Force Base, Cape Cod Mass.

His early childhood was spent living on several military bases and an overseas tour in the Philippines.

The family made Babbitt Minnesota home in 1972. He had a strong love for the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting were an important part of his life. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1982. While in high school he was a member of the Army National Guard. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1983 and served 6 years 10 months as a paralegal specialist.

Scott married Sandra (Sandy) in 1991.They have 2 children: Samantha (Sami) Holscher (Conrad) and Austin Jahnke. Scott worked over 30 years as Safety Coordinator and HR Occupational Health and Safety Administrator. He was very proud to be known as "Safety Scott".

Scott is survived by his wife Sandy Jahnke; children, Sami Holscher (Conrad) of Coon Rapids and Austin Jahnke, Vadnais Heights; his mother, Barb Jahnke of Bradenton Florida; and sister Lynette Robich (Michael) of Boise Idaho; as well as members of the Doering family who were like a second family to him.

He was predeceased by his father Chet in 2011.

Military service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday Sept. 16th.

A Celebration of Life service will be held September 16th at 1:00 PM, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear Lake, MN. A visitation will begin one hour prior. There will be a gathering after the service at The Old Clover Inn, Vadnais Heights.
