Sharon was a selfless woman with an open heart, whose faith was rooted in Jesus. She put herself through school and had a full career as a nurse in the United Hospital psychiatric unit. Her vocation of service to others carried through her entire life, not just in her professional work. She was selfless and caring, often putting others before herself.
An avid card player and gardener, Sharon also enjoyed retirement by wintering in Florida, but her favorite role was as mother and grandmother. Family was the center of her life - she took care of all of her grandkids, and attended as many of their events as she could.
Sharon's family wishes to share their gratitude to Sharon's caregivers at Keystone Senior Living - Sharon adopted every one of her nurses.
