Sharon Fino

Sharon was born in Danvers, MA and died in Chisago City, MN on February 29. She is survived by children, Jessica (David) Cardin, John (Kristina Kofski) Fino, Megan Fino; grandchildren, Luke and Nathan Cardin, Andrew and Daniel Fino; siblings, Kathleen Rousseau, Jack O'Connor, Maureen Donohue; former husband, Richard Fino; significant other, Robert O'Hare; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Theodora O'Connor; siblings, Ellen Bielinski, Annmarie Martin. Sharon was a great mother with a huge heart for kids. She was generous without ceasing, and truly believed there was no such thing as a bad kid. She was most proud of her work with at-risk teens, helping many who might have otherwise dropped out earn their high school diplomas. The family asks that memorials be directed to the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Poughkeepsie, NY (www.thecpca.com). A private family service will be held at a later date.
