Sharon Joyce

Sharon Joyce, beloved mom and grandma, passed away peacefully on December  1, 2020 at the age of 81. She was an East-Sider in her youth, and moved to Mahtomedi  to raise her family. Sharon will be missed by those who survive her: children, Carrin (Craig) Mahmood, Donald (Bonita) Joyce, Jr., Cathy Joyce; grandchildren, Alexandra (Tony) Bui, Taylor, James, and Danielle Mahmood, Jessica and Brandon Joyce, Stephanie, and Sunny Hill; great-granchildren, Eden Hill, Ethan Peterson,  Ryan Ladd, and Zoey Bui; brother, Roger (Karen) Booth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Ora Booth; husband, Donald Joyce; brother, Edward Booth; sister, Susan Johnson.

Sharon was a feisty, fancy grandma. She loved her church, shopping with her grandchildren, traveling with her husband, and was a fan of both football and the opera.

A memorial service will be 11am Tuesday, December 8 at ST. ANDREW’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi. Attendance will be limited; pre-registration is required. For those unable to attend in person, there will be a livestream broadcast of the service. See attendance registration and livestream links below.

Memorials are preferred to St. Andrew’s Community Resource Center or Alzheimer’s Research.
