Sharon Sobczak

January 23, 1947 — November 11, 2022

Sharon L. Sobczak (Albeck)
January 23, 1947 - November 11, 2022

Preceded in death by parents Donald and Dorothy Albeck; and former husband Bernard J. Sobczak Jr.
Survived by her children Mike (Lori) Sobczak, Kevin (Robin) Sobczak, and Dawn Parranto; siblings Steven (Sue) Albeck, Robert (Rita) Albeck, Deborah (Robert) Gagne, and Dennis Albeck; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and innumerable friends whom she considered family.

Sharon was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended church at the Catherdral and graduated from Washington High School in 1965. She met and married Bernie and together they had 3 wonderful children.
Most of her life, Sharon was a cook! Those who knew her knew she loved it and was very skilled. She worked at a variety of bars and restaurants over the years in the North End and Como neighborhoods. She was also a lunch lady at St. Mary's of the Lake, in White Bear Lake, for a time until declining health pushed her to retire.
She love country music, going "Up North", and visiting with friends when able; not to mention playing a few pull tabs now and again.
Sharon could be a little ornery at times (especially if you were working with her) but she was always there to help! She was always stepping up to do what she could and willing to give the last dollar she had or the shirt off her back to someone in need.

There will be a Celebration of Life on January 28, 2023 from 1-3 pm at Ideal Hall ( 1494 Dale St N )
