Stephanus Rheeder

Stephanus Johannes Rheeder, 48, of St Cloud, Minnesota, passed away suddenly on June 7th, 2024. Stephanus was our beloved son, brother, father, husband, uncle, cousin and friend.

Stephanus was a permanent resident of the United States of America, residing in St Cloud, Minnesota, but he worked as a truck driver for ATS all over the country. Stephanus was born in Witbank, South Africa to parents Chris and Hettie Rheeder. He was their second of 4 children. He has two daughters from a previous marriage: Tania Prinsloo who lives in South Africa and Patricia Rheeder here in Minnesota.

Stephanus got married on December 2nd, 2023 to Helette Terry in South Africa and he was looking forward to her joining him in the States. He moved to the States for work in 2009 and later worked in Canada for a couple of years. In 2014 he brought his daughters over and moved back to the States. Stephanus was a man of God. His main goal in life was to make people laugh and see others happy. 

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Chris and Hettie Rheeder, his wife Helette, his daughters Tania and Patricia, his siblings: sisters Liana and Joey, his brother Jaco and the rest of the extended family and friends.

The burial services will take place at 9am on June 27th, 2024 at Hazelwood cemetery.

A celebration of life service will take place on June 27th, 2024 at 10am at Bethany Latter Rain Mission on 9348 75th street N, Stillwater, MN, 55082
