Stephen Michael McGarthwaite

Age 72. Passed away on March 18, 2025. 

Preceded in death by father, Thomas Patrick; mother, Shirley Jean; and good friend, Bob Nygren. 

Survived by wife, Susan; children, Michael (Nikki), Anna (Kevin) and Ella; grandchildren, Meta and Silas McGarthwaite and Wirth Carfa; brother, Tom (Cheryl); sisters-in-law, Deb, Mary and Terri; and brothers-in-law; David and Doug; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. 

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on May 18th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. (sharing time at 3:00) at the Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite charity in Steve’s honor. “There are other worlds to putz in.”
