Steven "Rollie" McKenzie

Age 67, departed peacefully at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul on April 29th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Steven "Rollie" McKenzie was born on September 7th, 1956 in St. Paul, MN to Charles and Mary McKenzie. He attended school at Washington High School. He started work as a union painter and excelled in this career for over 30 years. Rollie was an avid Biker and could often be found on his motorcycle. He loved traveling the country on his Harley, particularly out west. He was also a skilled fisherman, but above all else, he was a passionate and loving father and grandfather. He always looked forward to time spent with family. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alan Jr., and Mary Corinne McKenzie; and his son, Steve Jr. "Kuby”. 

 He will be forever loved and cherished by his daughter, Jennifer (Gregory) Rouse; his grandchildren, Deundra "Boo" (Sydney), Sanita Jean, Alexandra "Ali", Brayden, and Bentley; his brothers, Chuck (Denise) McKenzie, and Chris (Colette) McKenzie; a host of nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

 Steven touched the lives of those around him. His strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit will always be remembered.

 

Public visitation will be held Friday, May 17 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street).

A Celebration of Life reception will be held on Saturday, May 18 at NALC (1715 Van Dyke St, Maplewood) at 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
