Susan Carol Hanson (Betancourt)

Passed away peacefully, at the age of 60, on Thursday, April 11th at her home in Saint Paul.

Susan was the matriarch of the Betancourt family. She was the last of ten siblings of the Betancourt Family of East Saint Paul. Each of the Betancourt children had their own children and in total the Betancourt family line is now totaling 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren!

She was an avid fisher, loved playing bingo, going thrifting, and going on spontaneous adventures with her friends. She was hardworking and motivated everyone around her with her presence. Susan persevered through many challenges in her life and rose above them all coming out stronger in the end. She was funny, brutally honest, caring, selfless, welcoming, and a friend to all.

She leaves behind her son, A.J (Tara); and her grandson, Hunter.

Preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Susan; and siblings, Tony, Carmen, Cisco, Tim, Wayne, "Joe Pot", "Livvy", Louie, and Manny.

Her wake will be at Bradshaw Funeral Services (1078 Rice Street, St.Paul, MN 55117) Saturday May 18, 2024 from 12-2pm followed by her funeral service from 2-3pm.
