Susan L. Jaskae

Susan Lynn Jaskae (Holek) age 83 of Woodbury, MN (formerly Troy, Mi) passed away peacefully August 4th , 2025, of pulmonary disease surrounded by family.

Born July 8 th , 1942, to Charles Holek and Billie Swaney (Stanton) Beloved wife of 56 years to the late David. She is survived by son Michael Jaskae (Michelle) and daughter Kelly Hautman (Jerry). Susan was a loving Nana to Marissa Jaskae, Claire Barr (Ethan), Madilyn Jaskae and Ethan Hautman. Dear sister to the late Barbara Leonard, Charles Holek (Diane), the late Richard Holek and the late Karen Britt.

Susan loved spending time with family and friends and hosting countless gatherings in their homes in Michigan and Florida. She loved cooking for an “Army” and made sure you never left hungry. Susan enjoyed traveling to numerous places later in life. (RV, Plane & Ship). One of Susan’s greatest joys in life came from riding her horse (Patriot) and giving love to her numerous pets. She was a passionate charitable supporter for multiple causes, most involving animals of all varieties, shapes and sizes.

A memorial service will be held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 4571 John R Road, Troy MI 48085 on Monday Sept 15th at 10 am. A luncheon for family and friends to follow, site to be determined.

Susan ashes will be laid to rest along side David’s in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
