Tammy Lynn Hilstrom

Tammy L. Hilstrom, age 60, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2026. Tammy was born on January 21, 1966, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Tammy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1984 and spent her life bringing love, comfort, and kindness to everyone around her. She had a heart big enough for anyone in need and was truly a mother figure to so many people throughout her life. Tammy will always be remembered for her caring soul, her strength, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved.

She enjoyed diamond painting, spending time with friends and family, and creating memories with the people she loved most. Her laughter, warmth, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley; her father, Carl; and her sister, Linda.

She is survived by her son, Shawn(Nicole); daughter, Megan(Cooper); brother, Carl “Butch”; grandchildren, Breanna, Kaelee, Haiden, and Braxtyn; her best friend, Jodi; and countless other family members and dear friends whose lives she touched forever.

A celebration of life for Tammy will be held on Saturday, June 27th from 12:00pm-4:00pm at 2507 E. 25th St., Minneapolis, MN 55406
