Teri Jane St. Clair

Jul 31, 1956 — Aug 5, 2026

In Loving Memory of Teri Jane St. Clair,

Teri Jane St. Clair, age 70, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on August 5, 2026.

Teri was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. But to her family, she was so much more. She was the matriarch of a huge, strong family—the boss, the rock, the backbone, and the confident voice that held everyone together. When Teri walked into a room, people noticed. When she spoke, you listened. And when she laughed, it was a laugh you couldn't help but love.

Teri was caring, loving, witty, and fiercely devoted to the people she loved. She had a personality bigger than life and never had a problem telling you exactly how she felt. She was fun, loud, honest, and full of personality. She loved to party, dance, and have a good time, and when it came to having fun, Teri was always the life of the party.

Teri shared a beautiful 46-year journey with her husband, John St. Clair. Together they built a life filled with love, family, laughter, and countless memories. Some of her favorite moments were the simple ones they shared together—sitting on the couch watching their favorite shows, Wheel of Fortune and the news, taking late-night rides, and enjoying motorcycle rides down by the river. Their 46 years together were filled with the kind of love that grows through a lifetime of shared experiences. Being a loving wife to John was one of Teri's greatest accomplishments.

Teri was deeply devoted to her children and spoke with them every day. She worried about everybody, every single day, because that was simply who she was. Loving people meant taking care of them, checking on them, listening to them, and making sure they were okay.

One of the greatest heartbreaks of Teri's life was losing her beloved son, Dion Blair. Dion was not simply her son—he was a piece of her heart, her whole world, and a love that never left her. She carried the pain of losing him with her every day, while continuing to love, care for, and hold her family together.

Although the years without Dion were difficult, Teri never stopped loving him, talking about him, remembering him, and carrying him in her heart. His place in her life could never be filled.

And now, after all the years of missing him, a mother's heart and her son's heart are together again. We find comfort in imagining Teri and Dion reunited—mother and son, side by side once more, laughing, loving, and watching over the family they both cherished so deeply.

She spent her life loving and protecting her children, and now she has her son back in her arms. Though our hearts ache because we have lost them both, there is comfort in knowing that Teri is no longer separated from the son she loved so dearly.

She is survived by her husband, John St. Clair; her children, Tiera Blair, Britney Blair, Lance Blair, Makayla St. Clair, and Shyla St. Clair; her stepchildren, James St. Clair and Jason St. Clair; and her beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Azureya, Tianna, Kayln, Peyton, Damon, Jocelyn, Ayiana, Lamarr, Braydon.

She is also survived by her brothers, James, Timothy, and David (Kim), and her sisters, Mary Jo Scott and Sandra (Drew) Bentley.

Teri leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Angelo, Nakia, Toma, Natasha, Daniel, Tia, April, Ricky, Angie, Tommy, Alisha, Jay, Katoe, Chenn lee, Justin, Shanell (Ariyana), Jeris, Taryn, and Amber, along with extended family members and countless friends who loved her dearly.

Teri was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dion Blair; her sister, Judith; her nephew, Nathaniel Williams; her sister-in-law, Nancy; her father, Jarvis Wyman Blair; her mother, Bertha Magdalen Weisser; her father-in-law, John St. Clair Sr; and her mother-in-law, Bernice Balanger.

Family was everything to Teri. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and being present for the moments that mattered. She loved cooking, watching cooking shows, and writing down recipes. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, garage sales, and traveling to Las Vegas, where she especially loved people-watching. Teri also loved her makeup and enjoyed taking pride in looking beautiful and putting herself together. She also really enjoyed decorating. You could confide in her about anything; she was never judgmental and always listened.

Teri had an especially tender heart for animals. She lovingly cared for her beloved pets Shadow, Kaya, Gizmo, and Coco, as well as the birds, squirrels, rabbits, ducks, and other animals that crossed her path. She cared for them the same way she cared for her family—with love, attention, and concern.

Teri worked for the United States Postal Service for 17 years, building a life through hard work, dedication, and commitment to her family.

But if you asked Teri what mattered most, it was never going to be a job, a possession, or an accomplishment. It was her family Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and being the woman her family could always count on.

She was the person who worried about everyone. The person who told you the truth. The person who made you laugh. The person who could be loud enough to fill a room and loving enough to make you feel safe in it.

She was our rock.

She was our backbone.

She was our boss.

She was our protector, our confidant, our comedian, our caretaker, and our home.

There will never be another Teri.

Her voice, her laugh, her stories, her recipes, her dancing, her honesty, and her love will live on in all of us.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we will carry her with us in every family gathering, every laugh, every recipe, every late-night conversation, every dance, and every moment we take care of one another.

And when we miss her most, we will remember that somewhere beyond this life, Teri and Dion are together again—mother and son, never to be separated again.

Teri Jane St. Clair was deeply loved, fiercely cherished, and will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Give Dion the biggest hug from all of us. Your family will carry your love forward, just as you carried all of us.

Until we meet you both again, you will forever live in our hearts.
