Thomas Harbinson

Thomas S. Harbinson passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. He was born May 3, 1931 and grew up in the Litchfield, MN area on a farm with eight siblings. He was a devout Catholic and church volunteer.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Lucille P. Harbinson. He is survived by his children Ann (Brian) Kaul, Dan (Cina) and Luke (Lindsay); his seven grandchildren Noah, Nathan, Brady, Owen, Sydney, Drew and Grace; his brother Jerome (Christine); sisters in law Nancy and Marly and many nieces and nephews.

He never met a patch of land he couldn't grow tomatoes on or a patch of grass he couldn't mow (sometimes daily) or a mood he couldn't lift with his dry, Irish wit. And to show a softer side, a baby he couldn't soothe.

He kept the switchboards working and the clocks set to the correct time at Northwestern "Ma" Bell/AT&T where he met his bride. He will be greatly missed but he lived his 93 years to the fullest.

A small interment service will take place at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church Cemetery.
