Evers); parents, Betty and Edwin Lindquist; and brother Edwin (Eddie) Lindquist. Tom is survived by his loving family; children, Jamie, TJ (Bogusia), and Missy (Derek Vaughn); grandchildren Noah, Grace, Vivienne, George, and Diana; additional family members and close friends.
Known as Mr. Fix It. He had a gift for knowing how to fix almost anything and had a generous heart always willing to help others with their projects. Tom had a passion for traveling, woodworking, and spending quality time with family. Tom spent four years stationed in Fuchu, Japan while serving in the United States Air Force. He worked in telecommunications and retired from Qwest in 2010.
He continued his passion for traveling with his wife into retirement and with his children after her passing. One of his favorite travel destinations was Branson, MO where many family memories were created. He especially liked to visit in the fall over Veteran's Day, as they honored and celebrated Veterans, something that was of great importance to him.
In honor of Tom being such a proud veteran, a Red, White, & Blue themed Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday July 21st, 2026 at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Dr., White Bear Lake at 1:30 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM, and reception immediately after the service. Guests are asked to wear Red, White, & Blue themed attire.
Tom graciously donated his body to the U of MN for education and research within the medical school. If you wish to send flowers to the funeral home, please ensure there are NO LILIES included in the arrangement due to a severity of allergies. In lieu of flowers or money, the family requests monetary memorials go to The Parkinson's Foundation in Thomas' memory at https://www.parkinson.org or to KTIS at https://www.myktis.com/other-ways-to-give/.
