Thomas "Tom" Marvin Rykel
Age 66, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away on April 21, 2026.

Tom bravely battled cancer many years ago and won. However, approximately 5 years ago the cancer returned. Our family is so incredibly proud of the courageous fight he put up and the strength he showed until the very end.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Patricia Rykel; great niece, Nitosha Flug-Presley; and significant other, Robyn Carey-Dundee.

He will be dearly missed by his twin, Tim Rykel; sister, Cheri (Greg) Hansen; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was born in St Paul, Minnesota on June 22, 1959, and graduated from Stillwater High School. Tom was a well-known Rice Streeter with a love of Harley Davidsons and his German Sheppard, Max, that he shared with his twin brother. In his late 50's, he moved to Iowa to be with the love of his life, Robyn, but eventually moved back home in 2023 after her passing. Tom was a family man and showed up to every birthday, holiday, or special occasion and always with a smile on his face. He liked to ride his bicycle around Lake Phalen and take car rides around town to check out the scenery.

Tom will be remembered for his sense of humor and fun teasing personality.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to Noon at Bradshaw (1078 Rice St.).
