Age 87 of Afton passed away on April 19th, 2017. Preceded in death by 1st wife Katherine, sister Joyce Boss and granddaughter Bea Moira Kunde. Survived by loving wife of 11 years, Joyce Kunde Stebbing; children, Sandy John, Susan Runge (Steve), Tom Jr. (Susan), Scott (Tina), John Kunde (Julie), Jim Kunde (Beth), Janelle Wasilk (Brad) and Joe Kunde (Ali); 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Tom lived and built a life worth remembering. Founder of Stebgo Metals, his 38 year and 3rd generation family in the business is a testament to his legacy. Honesty and integrity were his cornerstones for running his business and for mentoring his children and employees. Tom loved his family, his business and his customers. He was a faithful, gentle, kind and funny man. He would send his grandchildren coloring books every year, but before he mailed them, he would fill pages with drawings and jokes. A loving husband, father and grandfather. His legacy of love and humor will live on through every member of his family. This family is who they are, because of Tom and the man he was.
Memorial Service Tuesday, May 2nd at 11AM at Memorial Lutheran Church, 15730 S. Afton Blvd., Afton. Gathering one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Memorial Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the church.
